Early Life of Mahira Khan
Mahira Khan was born in Karachi, Pakistan on 21st December 1984. She is an Urdu speaking Pathan.
Her father Hafeez khan was born in Delhi but migrated to Pakistan after the partition. She also has a younger brother named Hassan khan.
She got her early education from foundation public school from where she completed her o-levels. At the age of 17, she moved to California where she attended Santa Monica College for higher education. After that, she went to the university of southern California for her bachelor’s degree.
During her studies in the united states, she worked as a cashier at a store in Los Angeles. She did not complete her undergraduate degree and returned to Pakistan in 2008.

Khan met Ali Askari in 2006 in los Angeles and married him in 2007.They both had a baby boy Azlan in 2009.unfortunately their marriage couldn’t work so the couple got divorced in 2015.
Career of Mahira Khan
Talented Mahira started her career as a VJ in 2006 which was aired three days a week. She then hosted AAG Tv’s show “weekends with Mahira” in 2008.

Mahira khan made her film debut in 2011 for Shoaib Mansoor-directed film BOL, In which she had a supporting role of a young girl named Ayesha. The film became the highest grossing pakistani films.

The same year she did her drama debut in neeyat directed by Mehreen Jabbar. She played the role of Ayla in it.

She did a most popular drama serial HUMSAFAR directed by sarmad khoosat, in which she played role of a pious girl named Khirad Ehsaan. Afterwards she did another drama in 2013 SHEHR-e-ZAAT for sarmad khoosat.
She hosted a show TUC THE LIGHTER SIDE OF LIFE where she interviewed celebrities. In 2014 she worked for Mohammed Ehteshamuddin directed drama SADQAY TUMHARE in which she played the role of shano opposite Adnan Malik. In 2015, she played opposite Humayun Saeed in the film BIN ROYE.
It was a mega success in her career. The film was later adapted as a drama in 2016 on hum Tv. In 2015 she did a biographical film directed by Sarmad khoosat called MANTO. In 2016 she played a leading role in Asim Azhar directed the film”HO MANN JAHAAN”.
Mahira’s Debut Film in Bollywood
Mahira co-starred in Rahul Dholakia’s film “RAEES” It was released in january 2017 and gained modest commercial success, earning over(US$39million). She became the top grossing actress in bollywood in quarter of 2017.
In 2017 she played a role of a rape victim in Shoaib Mansoor’s directed social drama film “VERNA” in 2018 she worked in the romantic comedy” 7 din Mohabbat in” she also made a special appearance in Asim Raza’s film” paray hat luv”.
On 12 August 2019 “SUPERSTAR”, a romantic-musical film was released, directed by Mohammed Ehteshamuddin and produced by Momina & Duraid films. In which she played opposite to Bilal Ashraf a well-known actor in Pakistan. Her role was of a struggling theatre artist Noor Malik (Noori).
